Lee Barnacle

With over 20 years of experience in the industry BB Contracts Director, Lee Barnacle, brings an excellent understanding of the practical side of project delivery. Lee’s background and training is apprenticeship based (carpentry and bench joiner). Lee is a born leader, he has the natural ability to organise, guide and motivate. His enthusiasm, energy and expertise establish a benchmark that all our tradesmen aspire to. Lee and Mark met whilst working together at Classic Interiors Contractors Limited (CICL). They established a long-term, strong and effective working relationship, built on mutual trust and respect. In 2001 Lee was promoted to Director at CICL. The new directorship worked well leading to the PLC takeover in 2007. After this completed Lee continued to work with Mark, and the PLC, to ensure procedures and processes that had been put in place continued under the new ownership.

Following Mark’s departure from CICL in 2009, when he left to form a new company, he was pleased to announce shortly afterwards, in 2010, that Lee would be joining him as a Director at the new company. The successful partnership would once again be re-united under the new name of BB Contracts Ltd. Lee can be depended on to perform each task he undertakes efficiently, accurately and completely. He accomplishes all projects, no matter the scale, with the same high level of attention to detail – which is one of his trademark characteristics!

When he is not at work, Lee enjoys family activities and spends as much time as possible with his wife and grown children. He loves socialising with friends and having good night out either drinking plenty of beer or enjoying great food and good wine. Lee pursues a number of outdoor activities including skiing, cycling, clay pigeon shooting, and golf. He also loves to travel and is hoping to do plenty more of that in the future.
