Mark Brown

Mark Brown, has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, specialising in fit-out and refurbishment projects. Mark is a qualified professional, having joined his father’s company, Classic Interiors Contractors Limited (CICL), on completion of his studies. The company was already successful when Mark joined, but Mark brought new ideas to the business – expanding it and employing new procedures and systems. Mark’s ability was recognised and he was made a partner at the age of 25. The company never had to advertise and all work came through recommendation – the company’s reputation spoke for itself! Mark worked tirelessly to build the business, gaining knowledge through experience, and by building alliances with the supply chain.

In 2007 CICL was sold. Mark stayed with the new owners (a PLC) for 2 years, continuing to run the business to ensure a smooth transfer. Mark then started his new venture, in collaboration with a previous business colleague, Lee Barnacle. Their combined joint experience, skills and drive have been deployed into BB Contracts Limited. Mark prides himself on offering a superior personal service that is only available from a smaller, privately owned business – Mark is always available!

Mark enjoys socialising when not at work as well as being with his family. When time allows he enjoys, golf, skiing, motorsport and travel. Weekends away with family and friends (and his dogs) are a pleasure in life that Mark enjoys to the full and whenever possible. “Work hard, play hard” and “better to burn out than fade away” are moto’s used regularly! – Somebody needs to remind him he’s getting older.
